The event will be held on March 27-30, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue, WA.

What are the benefits of attending the event?
Microsoft Azure Stack is a new hybrid cloud platform product that enables organizations to deliver Azure services from their own datacenter thereby helping them achieve more. Having Azure Stack in your datacenter will enable a flexible workstyle, organize, control, and manage cloud resources, install new Azure service, and manage cloud customers. By attending the event partners can:

  • Gain a deep technical information about Azure Stack, including architecture and hardware requirements
  • Acquire insight into Microsoft programs and incentives to help you build, deploy, and bring offers to market
  • Obtain the opportunity to join Azure Stack Early Adoption Initiative and connect with our launch hardware partners

How do I get to the event?
Directions from Sea-Tac Int'l Airport (17 miles)
Follow signs to "All Freeways". Take Hwy. 518 to 405 North to Bellevue for 14 miles. Exit onto NE 8th St. west (exit #13B). Follow NE 8th for 6 1/2 blocks. Our hotel is on the right after crossing 106th Ave, at corner of NE 8th and Bellevue Way.

From West:
Seattle on 520. Merge onto WA-520 E exit number 168B toward Bellevue. Merge onto I-405 S toward Renton. Take the NE 8th Street East/West exit number 13B. Take the NE 8th St West ramp, merge onto NE 8th St. Turn right on Bellevue Way.

From North:
Vancouver Follow Provincial Route 99 South. Provincial Route 99 S becomes I-5 South. Merge onto I-405 S via exit number 182 toward Bellevue/Renton. Take NE 8th St. East/West exit number 13B. Take the NE 8th St West ramp, merge onto NE 8th St. Turn right on Bellevue Way. Hyatt Regency Bellevue WA is ahead.

From East:
Spokane Take Freeway Avenue N and merge onto I-90 W for 269 miles. Take the I-405 S exit number 10 toward Renton/Bellevue. Merge onto I-405 N toward Bellevue/Everett. Take the NE 8th St West ramp exit number 13B, merge onto NE 8th St. Turn right on Bellevue Way.

What accommodations should I book for my stay in Bellevue during the event?
We have a block of rooms available at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue for a special group rate of $240 per night plus tax.

  • Make sure to register early to secure a hotel room, as space is limited
  • Reservations must be made via the event registration process to get the special group rate
  • Once the block of rooms that we have secured are filled, we will make recommendations for other hotels in the area

What meals will be provided during the event?
We will be providing breakfast and lunch, and two coffee and snack breaks throughout the day. We will also provide appetizers for evening events. For evenings with no events, we will not be providing any meals, but there are several restaurants nearby in downtown Bellevue that you can walk to.

Is this an NDA event?
Yes. Because of the exclusive content being shared at this event, NDA’s are required for participation. The Microsoft Event Participation and Confidentiality Agreement, to be signed during the registration process, states:

  • Audio and video recording of this Microsoft event is prohibited
  • Non-public information made available at this event is strictly confidential, and its re-distribution is prohibited.
  • All information presented at this event represents the current views of Microsoft, but is otherwise presented “as is” for informational purposes only

I am an international partner, how do I obtain a visa application?
If you need a business travel support letter for your visa application, you can request one during the event registration process. Your request to attend the event must be approved and event fees paid, if applicable, before we can issue a letter.

What do I need to bring with me for event check-in?
For check-in at the event, please bring a government issued photo ID, like a driver’s license or passport.

How many attendees can come from one company?
Only five (5) employees per invited partner organization may attend the event.

Is the registration fee refundable?
The Azure Certified for Hybrid Cloud Airlift event fee of $250 is refundable with a $50 cancellation fee up until February 27, 2017. It is non-refundable after February 27, 2017. Registrations may be transferred to another registrant from the same company prior to check in at the event. To perform a substitution, the original registrant should select "Substitution" from the right side of the Confirmation page within their registration record. A new person may substitute for an active registration for the same registration fee

Will there be certification testing during the event?
We will not conduct any testing or certification at this event. The Azure Certified for Hybrid Cloud Airlift is being held to train service provider partners how to build, deploy, and go to market with Azure Stack in their datacenter. It will also be an opportunity for service providers to connect with launch hardware partners.

Should I bring something to take notes with during the event?
Feel free to bring a laptop to take notes during the event. We will have power supply next to every seat in the auditorium to keep your device fully charged. We will also be providing a notepad and pen for your convenience. If you prefer not to take notes, we will be posting all presentation slides and videos on the EAI Community website once the event ends.
